It’s been a year and a half since I wrote my endorsement for former President Donald John Trump in the 2024 Election. With arguably the most polarized, chaotic, and pivotal election since 1968 less than a month away, updates are necessary.
Since then, a lot has changed. Kevin McCarthy has been replaced as Speaker by Mike Johnson, which is a tremendous upgrade to the right. Trump replaced Ronna McDaniel with Michael Whatley as RNC Chair and leadership has become much more effective. This was perhaps one of my few criticisms of President Trump in my previous column but the Republican Party’s changed structurally in the right direction. The same is potentially possible with GOP Senator Leader Mitch McConnell announced stepping down after the 2024 election with prospects of NRSC Chair Steve Daines potentially succeeding him, who is much more conservative. Lastly, Trump has also chosen Freshman Senator of Ohio JD Vance as his running mate who is one of the most America First-aligned Republicans in the party. The biggest factors that have hindered Trump from enacting the America First agenda during his first term have been greatly alleviated.
Additionally, on October 7th, a genocide in Gaza occurred. Now we have a regional war involving Hamas (Gaza), Houthis (Red Sea), Hezbollah (Lebanon), and Iran. Israel is also striking Syria while conducting a ground invasion in Gaza and Lebanon. The situation in the South China Sea continues to escalate, which I’d argue is becoming increasingly more dangerous than the conflict in Taiwan.
The elections had massive changes as well. Donald Trump secured the nomination with a crushing landslide accumulating 77% of the vote which is almost incumbent numbers. Joe Biden despite the DNC rigging the primary to suppress Marianne Williamson, Dean Phillips, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr to consolidate complete control was forced to drop out after a catastrophic debate performance on June 27 where he completely exposed his cognitive decline. Then Kennedy proceeded to drop out after shortly running Third Party then endorse Donald Trump for President, pledging he will Make America Healthy Again (MAHA).
Now Donald Trump faces Vice President Kamala Harris with his running mate Minnesota governor Tim Walz who secured the nomination by collecting all of Biden’s delegates.
All these factors make the 2024 election the most tumultuous one since 1968 and call for major revisions to build my case. I’d also like to make a last-minute plea to all American voters to please cast their ballot for Donald Trump and Republican candidates across various races this election.
If Donald Trump is re-elected, he’ll be the first and only President since Grover Cleveland (1892) to serve two non-consecutive terms. The political symbolism behind it is massive as so many wild events occurred. During his term, he was attacked by the media, establishment, bureaucrats, Democrats, and a good chunk of the Republican Party. Next, Trump then faced two impeachments, indictments, conviction, and TWO assassination attempts. Returning to the White House after overcoming such unprecedented hurdles is a political victory unlike anything we’ve ever seen. It’s akin to Richard Nixon having ANOTHER major political comeback after Watergate, which was January 6th in Trump’s case. Trump has worked very thoroughly reflecting on the flaws of his term and previous campaigns to ensure he wins the 2024 election, which he knows is his last chance at redemption in the history books.
It gives him a powerful mandate if he returns to the White House on January 20, 2025. The elites have essentially squeezed everything they possibly could to stop Trump but have failed. He secures nearly a total victory. On top of that, he’s learned and improved massively as I’ll elaborate subsequently. It’d be potentially one of the defining moments of this century. With the appointment of a successor (JD Vance), the America First movement has solidified into an ideology that can be cemented over the long run. Everything’s been built up for this moment.
Additionally, public opinion has accelerated massively into favoring the Trump Administration, which is approved now by a majority of Americans. During Trump’s first term, his policies were met with massive opposition as he pursued many different policies from the previous administrations and people got scared of falling for the media’s deception campaign. However, the public has turned to favor many of them after Biden-Harris’s four years as they did the opposite. Biden’s halt of Trump’s border wall construction led to a border invasion; Blocking production of oil in federal lands coupled with his hawkish foreign policy that led to the Ukraine War led to a massive surge in oil prices (contributing to inflation. Also, a potential Iran vs Israel war could also lead to another oil shock); an unprecedented spending binge coupled with mishandling the supply shock causing massive inflation; Democrat’s soft on crime policies lead to very dangerous streets and a massive surge in the homeless population; Biden’s warmongering foreign policy lead to global conflicts everywhere with the threat of World War 3 endlessly looming. These are just a few examples of many. In contrast, Donald Trump’s presidency looks much more favorable in comparison as the economy was good, no new wars, and decreasing illegal immigration into America to name a couple. Public opinion shifted since 2016 in favor of mass deportation, support of law enforcement, and desire for restoring energy independence. This is why even Kamala Harris is pivoting rhetorically to the Right in her campaign as she’s aware of such trends.
Harris meanwhile wouldn’t just be a continuation of Biden’s four years but much worse. Her 2020 and 2024 campaigns consisted of a far more radical agenda than Joe Biden like abolishing ICE, implementing the Green New Deal, and price gouging. Not only that, her staff is filled with much more inexperienced and incompetent individuals, Phil Gordon being one example. Their view of the world is much more naive and obsessed with the Democratic Peace Theory. Additionally, Harris has nearly no political philosophy who goes based on where the winds blow. While the Democratic Party becomes more far left, the establishment’s grip strengthens. Biden though is senile and has over 40 years of political experience. Harris has almost none and despite being younger, she barely does any media appearances except favorable or thoroughly coordinated ones. This shows she’d be a complete puppet beholden to the Deep State, unlike anything we’ve seen before. The erosion of American values, Constitution, power, and debt will accelerate to an irreparable point. Not only that, Harris as an individual rose throughout her political career purely through buying favors or using her identity as not merit. She’s the pinnacle of incompetence. Harris hopes to use the illusion of youth and “new vision” (without virtually any content whatsoever) to win the election but people mustn’t forget the disasters she’s caused as Vice President. It’ll be much worse if she accumulates more power. The contrast couldn’t be clearer. She’d potentially be the worst President in American history. This is further proven by her campaigning mechanisms. No aspect of Americanism exists at all. It’s all about abortion and “Democracy” (America is a Constitutional Republic). Her rhetoric greatly resembles the authoritarian language heard from the European Union. They centralize all control to “experts” and bureaucrats, depriving national sovereignty under the guise of “disinformation” + “hate speech.” She panders even through woke or even degenerate-like pornography communities. She eradicates all aspects that contrast the US from Europe, ending American Exceptionalism entirely in all its traits. There’s a definitive pro-Trump and anti-Harris case to be made in this election.
Historically, America’s at a crossroads. The elites who’ve brought America to such a low point double down, breaking all norms in order to desperately cling to power. They refuse to acknowledge they’re now remnants of the past and fight until their last breath. This election determines whether the country goes down with them or transitions into a new era undergoing direly needed changes. Donald Trump serves two roles. One is to break through the uniparty and defeat the swamp, which is insanely difficult as they’ve consolidated power for nearly a century now. The other is to lay the foundations for a new vision to replace the old order. If the former requires his boorish nature, the second requires a visionary, two very different traits.
Trump broke through but didn’t completely prevail over the elites initially. He also stumbled due to lack of experience often and made many mistakes. He didn’t have a vision. However, Trump has changed and improved tremendously over the last 8 years, acquiring both.
MAGA has nearly taken over the mainstream of the Republican Party. He without a question now has more power than the establishment, which he thoroughly established from 2020-2024. He used the increasingly radicalizing, furious base frustrated at how weak the GOP is against the Biden administration to call for changes. Initially, he tried electing loyalists in 2022, but they all mostly lost due to structural factors and poor political skills of the new candidates that emerged who aligned with MAGA (mainly due to lack of experience). So then, he switched his strategy to control the party machine so the GOP overall is forced to shift in his direction, which makes all politicians adapt to these new circumstances. With Agenda 47 and thorough vetting, he built a solid set of policies to gut the Deep State while building a staff BEFOREHAND (for a hostile takeover to manifest, preparations must be made before entering office to begin the operation) whom he can trust to implement his new sets of ideas. One can see on Agenda 47 that Trump has the most intricate, unique set of policies no other American politicians have proposed. Some examples include celebrating the 250th Birthday of America, building Freedom Cities + a major infrastructure for the first time since the 1950s, using college accreditation to radically overhaul the university curriculum into a meritocratic one (aka no DEI, affirmative action), and many, MANY more.
Trump’s also been going hard on choosing the best people on the campaign AND policymaking staff. One case was firing someone in charge of Johnson County, Iowa, for losing it to Nikki Haley in the Iowa Caucus by one vote. Because Trump’s been backed into a corner where his life would be unlivable in America if he loses this election, he means business (also a desire for redemption. Trump doesn’t want his legacy to end on January 6th). This coupled with MAGA becoming the mainstream of the party (and VP Vance), I believe his cabinet will be much better than his first, which was 95%+ establishment as he knew no one in DC in 2016. Therefore, Trump is ready to take up the nearly impossibly difficult responsibilities bestowed upon him now.
Lastly, Trump’s appointment of a successor as Vice President, James David Vance, has very significant implications long-run. He is the first Senator to be selected as a running mate just two years after being elected Senator for the first time since Richard Nixon in 1952. He’s also very young (40) like Nixon was (39). He is Trump’s chosen successor to be the next Republican nominee for President in 2028. Someone two generations past him who went to Yale Law School, built a business, and is extremely intelligent. This implies Trump wants his movement to last beyond his two terms and continue to build on the Republican Party. He understands America has so many problems there’s just no way he can fix all of the US’s key problems in four years. Trump needs someone to carry on his legacy and pass the torch to one who shares his worldview. Additionally, Vance, unlike Trump, has many political connections through Peter Thiel that are very effective and highly intelligent. He also is very keen on the details of policy, unlike Trump who offers a general, big picture. Trump lays the foundations, and Vance will build on it. I will get into this much deeper in my next column “The Future of MAGA and America Post-Trump.”
I’ll only go through this briefly as I’ve already done so in my previous endorsement and the Anti-Zionist Case for Donald Trump over Kamala Harris. But I felt I needed to brush across this as the primary focus of this Substack is geopolitics, but please refer to my two previous columns. I highly recommend people read an excellent column written by two brilliant International Relations Experts, Professor Randall Schweller and Andrew Byers. Trump understands the limits of American power and will demonstrate the most restrained foreign policy in US history since Calvin Coolidge, who was President exactly a century ago.
This is further reinforced by JD Vance because he repeatedly emphasizes the catastrophic consequences of attempting to rebuild the world in our image and how endless wars have bankrupted America, contributing to our massive debt. Additionally, he rejects the “End of History” mindset the Blob completely bought into since Fukuyama wrote his infamous book and understands history as well as the importance of diplomacy. America since the 90s only considered their perspective and never thought of how the other side would take certain actions we make, which goes against literally the BASIC, MOST IMPORTANT rule of foreign policy.
Trump during the GOP Primary criticized Ron DeSantis for calling Putin a war criminal, saying it’s simple-minded thinking that’s led America into endless wars and emphasized the need to treat Russia with respect. More importantly, he talked about how the US President must understand Russia lost 25 million lives in World War 2 (1/3 of their population at the time) in the context of Ukraine. It demonstrates mature thinking which hasn’t been in US foreign policy for a very long time. Though it’s not perfect, Trump is aware of the dynamics of power, checks and balances, and diplomacy. These realist instincts I believe will drive Trump-Vance into a pragmatic worldview focusing on US interests and national security. The old narratives and prevailing worldviews will prevent it from being perfect (Israel being the biggest example), sadly, but it’s a step in the right direction. Trump lays the foundations of restoring this mindset, then I’m optimistic America will build on from there to rediscover realism over the long run.
This election had multiple fluctuations. Initially, after the midterms and Trump’s massive unpopularity, Biden was favored to win re-election. Then as Biden’s approval ratings sank further and his term continued, he became a more unpopular figure than Trump, leading to a flip. So, Biden desperately tried to change by challenging Trump to a debate that was so catastrophic it led to an unprecedented incident of the officially elected nominee dropping out.
Then Harris emerged, and she had a massive Convention effect, flipping the election once more as many were satisfied seeing a new person other than Trump and Biden. Also, being a young Black woman motivated the Democratic base and brought initial enthusiasm. Desperate to preserve this momentum until the election, Harris stayed out of media appearances and interviews. However, the lack of content and her record as Vice President began to emerge as voters started to focus on the issues. Now, the election is a dead heat according to polls trending in Trump’s favor. Almost all polls indicate a dead heat and tie nationally, as well as in the key swing states.
My prediction, based on the polls, trends, and analysis, is that Donald Trump will secure a comfortable victory in the 2024 election. I initially believed a landslide was possible, but the nation is too polarized for such an outcome. I believe Trump will clutch a Popular Vote victory by 0.5 to 1 point, which is a 5-point shift from 2020. Like his previous elections, I believe polls are once more underestimating Trump, though not as badly as 2020 or 2016. Considering polls have it at a dead heat, a slight overperformance means a comfortable win in the key swing states, most likely by lean margins. Also, Jill Stein and Cornel West will siphon a lot of votes (I estimate potentially 2-3%) from Kamala Harris due to her unconditional support for the Gaza Genocide over the past year. The Electoral College vote under my scenario would be 313-225.
I cannot emphasize and implore readers enough to vote for Donald Trump in this election. This isn’t just crucial for America but also for the world. Four years of Kamala Harris will lead to a global depression (oil shock, we are already in trends of a recession, supply chains still not fully recovered) and World War 3 (or Nuclear Holocaust in Ukraine, the Middle East, or maybe another war in East Asia). Domestically, the Constitution will become nonexistent as the current Orwellian power grabs continue, the cultural decadence that all of Western Civilization experiences will accelerate, the Third Worldization of America will become inevitable with lawlessness, homelessness + border invasion as gangs and drugs pour in, and current geopolitical trends of multipolarity will solidify making it inevitable for China to surpass the US (if this happens, the USD becomes useless and we will default, bankrupt as a nation becoming Venezuela unless the debt is paid back [also impossible under the spending binge Harris will get America into]).
These four years will determine potentially the next half a Century of American and world politics. Either America experiences a revival or becomes irreparably broken. Four years of Harris will make it impossible for any succeeding presidents unless they’re a miracle from God to reverse such trends. Humanity is at stake as Harris’s neoconservative and warmongering leanings (especially worsened with the Cheney family’s endorsements) can lead to our extinction as the possibility is open right now on multiple fronts. Therefore, whether it be by mail, early, or on Election Day, I hope everyone reading this votes for Donald J Trump in the 2024 election and ends America’s decades of decline for a new Golden Age.
