Representative Buck was elected to represent Eastern Colorado in 2014. Then in late 2023, Representative Buck decided not to run for reelection, opening the gate for Lauren Boebert to move and succeed him. Afterwards on March 12, 2024 he announced he would resign from Congress next week.
